Autumn Equinox Adventure

Our 2023 autumn equinox mountain adventure in the beautiful San Luis Valley of Colorado was a most memorable time spent with some amazing human beings. Autumn is one of the most enchanting times of the year here in Colorado. During this intimate retreat we offered a variety of different activities such as hiking, horseback riding, yoga, rejuvenating natural mineral hot springs, and a one of a kind dance party with music DJ'd by David Satori of Dirtwire/Beats Antique. David also performed a live ambient music set during our optional group journey, aligned with Colorado's law SB23-290.

Our home base for the Autumn Equinox Event was the rustic and enchanting Steel Horse Retreat. The Steel Horse Retreat accommodates guests with a mix of private guest rooms, RV sites, 'glamping' domes, and tent camping sites. Not only was the Steel Horse an incredible venue, but the natural surroundings and magnificent views were the perfect backdrop for a most magical time.

Group Nature Hikes

The group hikes are a great way to exercise, de-stress, and experience the true beauty of Colorado. We tailor our hikes to meet the group's fitness level, so everyone can enjoy the experience.

Rocky Mountain Horseback Adventure!

We saddled up for a mesmerizing horseback riding adventure in the picturesque landscapes of Colorado. As we traversed through the enchanting pinion trees, crossed a serene creek, and ascended to the mesa top. Our guided trail ride was lead by expert staff through the mountains. The wonders of Colorado's wilderness helped to create a magical time spent in nature.

Natural Hot Springs

After a day of horseback riding and hiking, it'll be time to unwind and embrace the serenity of a private man-made mineral pool at the enchanting Mount Princeton Hot Springs. Let the warm, therapeutic waters soothe your muscles and uplift your spirits as you share the healing waters with your new friends.

Group Journey on the Autumn Equinox

Participate in an optional group journey on the Autumn Equinox to the extent permitted under Colorado's law SB23-290. Enjoy a live musical landscape created by the talented musician David Satori.

This is for people who have had some previous experience with plant medicines. We will create a safe container for you to experience the awe plant medicines offer. We hold space, without being dogmatic about how you must participate. We treat you like an adult, let you choose your adventure, and be there for you should you need the hand or shoulder of a sober mind.

Yoga

Start our days with grounding and invigorating yoga sessions. Share the practice with your new friends and choose the level of exhilaration that suits your aptitude each day.

Fireside Chats

What sets this gathering apart is the chance to actively engage in preparing for the group journey, making it a collaborative and personalized experience. Integrate your ideas, desires, and passions into the experience. Share your hopes and fears with your peers ahead of the journey. Reconnect afterwards to download and integrate.

On Saturday night, after our journey, we will celebrate our adventure with a dance party featuring David Satori. David feels strongly that music is a healing medicine and he encourages each of us to travel courageously and curiously into our passions and to spread the love of music wherever and whenever we can.

Eat well and be well

All meals and snacks are provided. We eat whole, healthy foods prepared with love. We accommodate allergies and special diets. And we cheat a little with fireside s'mores made with organic, vegan chocolates.

Steel Horse

Nature-inspired destination providing a private and serene setting for our intimate, group adventure and journey. Offering private rooms with ensuite baths, glamping domes, RV spots or camping. Rustic barn, rail car lounge, and outdoor gathering spaces. Approximately three hours south west of Denver.
